Soheil Jalali

Soheil Jalali is a Vancouver-based DJ and producer making melodic house & techno, progressive house and Afro house.

Rhythm came first. As a child he played the Persian hand drum, and all through university the African hand drum. That love of drums and percussion still sits at the centre of everything he makes. After years behind the decks he turned to production: lush pads, patient builds and hypnotic grooves.

For Soheil it has always been about the music and the story - creating something that one day moves somebody. It was never about fame.

In 2026 he started his own label, Quantum Lounge. Barefoot to You (QL001) opens the catalogue on 23 October 2026, Shekar (QL002) follows on 30 October, with new music to follow every week.
